Born and raised in foggy Northern California now residing in Pasadena CA, Arielle Estoria Leda Wilburn is a Writer, Speaker and Creative. Arielle graduated from Azusa Pacific University in 2015 with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and focus on theater integration to be a creative bridge between intellect and creativity, the mind and the heart. Through various aspects of storytelling: Spoken Word, Event Hosting (Emcee), Acting and Voice Overs, Arielle orchestrates her art out of a “Words not for the ears but for the soul” motto. Words that plant within an audience’s soul and blooms awareness of identity and worthiness. The heartbeat behind her work, is a diligent pursuit of instilling and reminding individuals of their value through words. Arielle does not just give poetry, speeches or work
Having started in the competitive slam world of Spoken Word poetry in 2012, Arielle then branched out as a freelance contracted poet in 2015. She has spoken at universities such as Azusa Pacific University, Cal State Northridge and Fullerton, UCLA, Biola and Point Loma. She has emceed annual conferences such as, Yellow Conference and Anchored in Love. And has built artistic and professional relationships with companies such as Lululemon, Cantinas Arts, Get Lit, UYWI and more. Arielle has lead workshops in topics such as: writing, social media story telling and Identity in various settings ranging from students to professional development spaces.
Arielle is the Co-Author of two self-published collections of poetry: Vagabonds and Zealots (2014) and Write Bloody Spill Pretty (2017) which can both be found on Amazon.com and in 2016, released her EP of poetry and music titled Symphony of a Lioness.
When she’s not on stage or on the road, you can find Arielle writing, recording, acting or modeling (Bicoastal MGMT LA, Role Models MGMT) or teaching at local Los Angeles county schools as a Teaching Artist.
